10th July 2011 Hiking - Walking: Levington Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny,cloudy and rain !!! Max Speed: Distance Covered: 4.18 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) A nice relaxing start to a Sunday after two days of windsurfing :) then after breakfast a 3 mile walk along the prom followed by lunch - sadly I then had the Grand Prix on - Oh so'oooooooooooooo boring :( don't bother with that again !!! Then late afternoon about five drove to Levington with Mag,our son Dan and his new girlfriend Jay to try out her new binocular's :) We set off from the Marina around the trout lake past the nice sandy bay and the the creek to the bird hides on Trimley Marshes spotting all manor of birds including herons,egrets,shags,cormarants,avocets etc etc so a great 4 mile walk not spoilt when it started to rain on us !!! We must replace our binoculars as only one side works :( |
